Brian is a husband and father of two. He studied at Oak Brook College of Law and Government Policy, receiving his Juris Doctor degree in 2003. Since then he has been certified to practice law in California and Washington state, as well as the federal district court.

Brian’s first short film, which he co-produced with Daniel Bittner, was entitled The Process, a mockumentary which took a satirical look at the legislative process in the Washington state Senate. He has also written the Inspector Pickles Christmas Mystery Series for children and families and is working on a children’s book with the working title of The Hyena who Forgot how to Laugh.

Brian currently works as the Senior Legislative Assistant for Senator Don Benton in the Washington state Senate, and is a licensed minister through Cornerstone Bible Church in Enumclaw, WA.

Daniel Bittner - Producer, Cinematorgrapher
Daniel is the oldest of ten siblings. He is the political director of the campaign to re-elect Senator Don Benton, and is the marketing and administrative coordinator for the Benton Group, a national television advertising consulting firm.

Daniel founded Germane Productions with Brian Lohr in 2005, when they produced The Process together. Since then, Daniel has hosted and produced the internet news segment Hero Spot, which reports everyday events as satirically newsworthy. He has also written and directed numerous campaign advertisements for radio and television.

Dialtone is Daniel’s first major film production. He has brought together a talented group of people from across Washington state including composers Daniel and David Craig, Executive Producer Wade Meyers, Director of Photography and Executive Producer of Experience Studios Gary Voelker, veteran stage actress Rita Fletcher, former longtime director of the Jesus of Nazareth stageplay Randy Gross, and countless others.

Gary Voelker - Director of Photography, Editor, Executive Producer
Gary Voelker is a full-time film and video producer, and a lover of good movies. He got started down this path as a 5-year-old boy with a tape recorder and a love for telling stories. At age 15, he began to do small-scale video production, and in 2005 (17 years later), he started his own production company, Experience Studios in Federal Way, Washington.

Gary worked very closely with Director Brian Lohr and Producer Daniel Bittner on each stage of Dialtone, which is Gary’s biggest film project to date, and his first festival submission.

Daniel and David Craig - Original Music
David and Daniel Craig come form a musical family of seven. They are both classically trained pianists and vocalists. David is currently operating a construction business along with his older brother while pursuing other entrepreneurial oppurtunities.

Danny is completing a degree in philosophy and apologetics from Christ Theological Seminary. In 2008, he won 1st place in the vocal division at Musicfest Northwest. Though they find the process of composing for film exilarating, working together as a team is by far the highlight of the experience.

Samuel Young - First Assistant Director, 2nd Unit Director, Story Consultant
Sam is the oldest of eleven children and has been homeschooled through his entire education. His diverse interests range from writing and politics to SCUBA diving and historical reenacting. He also enjoys raising chicken and pork for his family on their small Washington farm .

After long being interested in filmmaking, Sam joined the Germane Productions team and made Dialtone his first film project. He started early in the pre-production stage and since then has worked in roles from Boom Boy to Second Unit Director. Having gained this experience, he has also begun looking at other film projects and is looking forward to more intensive study at the acclaimed Filmmaker's Academy at the San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival.

Sam is pleased to continue his home education through college and is currently working on a BA in Communications through the CollegePlus! program. He has recently found a creative outlet through writing and has started a series of adventure stories for boys. Sam is still seeking the Lord’s guidance for his ultimate future plans, but it is his desire, wherever he may be, to continue to help reclaim the culture for Christ.
